OUR MOTTO
passing the torch
Your generosity makes our work possible. Whether you contribute financially or as advocate for good, you make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.
HOW TO START?
The essential goal of the Foundation is not only to promote awareness of Italian and Italian American culture, history, and societal contributions, but to celebrate and preserve these areas for younger generations of Italian Americans in the United States, as well as those of other backgrounds and ethnicities who are interested in discovering all things Italian.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP!
Through the creation of scholarships, study abroad programs and cultural events, as well as through the establishment of associations and alliances among students, Coccia Foundation strives to develop and foster long-term relationships between young people and society as a whole

OUR LATEST ACTIVITY
Student Award Program K-12
Coccia Foundation is honored to partner with the Paragano Family Foundation in continuing the Italian Studies Student Award Program for over ten years. We currently have over 50 schools in the Tri-State area participating in this unique program for students in grades K-12, who are enrolled in Italian language classes. Each school is awarded $250 to be distributed among three to five worthy students selected by their teacher of Italian based on their own established criteria. One outstanding High School student may receive the full $250 however this is reserved for Seniors only. This program continues to support our mission of “Passing the Torch” to future generations through education, by keeping our young scholars interested in our rich Italian heritage, language and culture.
If you are a teacher of Italian (K-12), who would like to join our prestigious list of schools currently participating in the Italian Studies Student Award Program, please contact Elisa@cocciafoundation.org
